Row editing and updating in gridview in asp net No sign up or account girl cams
One note will be helpful for you, while describing Columns in Grid View if you are using a boundfield then create objects of the control using cells[index] in the rowupdateing event of Grid View, but if you are using controls itself like Label or textboxes etc then use Fincontrol("stringid").This example shows how to edit and update records in a Grid View in ASP. This example is helpful in situations where an administrator needs to edit several records from the database. Net is useful for displaying large data in a tabular format.I have previously posted an article on how to insert new rows in database using a Grid View.I will call that field “Number Of Reviews” and i can do that by modifying the Select Command of the Sql Data Source as follow. " Delete Command="DELETE FROM [Genre] WHERE [Id] = @Id" Insert Command="INSERT INTO [Genre] ([Name], [Sort Order]) VALUES (@Name, @Sort Order)" Select Command="SELECT Genre. They work in similar and respective way as the “Edit” command. Go to Grid View’s code add a handler for the On Row Data Bound like this.
When I Filter the data using dropdown selected Index Changed event the gridview shall load data based on what is searched.

I am assuming ACLId is the primary key with a clustered index and you have an index on Status column.
Visible = false; } if (rows Affected == 0) } ALTER PROCEDURE [dbo].[VT_ACLReport Change Status] ( @Change Status nvarchar(50)=null, @ACLId int ) AS // Exec VT_ACLReport Change Status 'Complete',34 BEGIN UPDATE VT_ACLReport SET Status = @Change Status WHERE ACLId = @ACLId End Replace the UPDATE statement in your stored procedure with T-SQL given below.
